SynBiosys is a sustained release technology using several monomers to form a biodegradable polymer matrix in which APIs can be entrapped. When brought in an aqueous environment, the polymers swell and gradually release the APIs by diffusion.  Release time can be regulated from days up to several months.

Large protein molecules such as growth factors, cytokines and therapeutic antibodies can be formulated into parenteral depot formulations with release of structurally intact proteins  with preserved activity from several days up to 6 months. For this, we make use of our SynBiosys® platform which has several formulation possibilities, including microparticles, implants or coatings.

Peptides

Peptides

InnoCore’s sustained release technologies are capable of releasing peptides structurally intact over a period of time, ranging from days to several weeks. Using either our SynBiosys® or InGell® polymer platform, the release is controlled by diffusion which can be tuned by variation of the SynBiosys® or InGell® building blocks ratio resulting in limited or no burst.
